Click to view attachmentWe gutted it today.
Both doors inc glass and electrics, carpet, headliner, rear seats, panels, center console, speakers.
Quite a big pile of debris.
I'm putting my 710's on it tomorrow.
Just to tweak people, were going to put my Porsche GT3 rear wing on it!

Both the stock seats and stock belts for now.
If it's 'fun enough', we'll get race seats, five points and a cage
I'll put some better front pads in before Sears on the 21st.

There you go Trekkor! Have BRAG sponsor you with a set of KYB's and H&R sport springs.
There has to be a way to improve that suspension without dumping a ton of money into it. Whish I still had the Echo that car was hilarious to drive at AX events. You do want to figure out a way to beef up rear sway bar. Rear sway bar will helps keep fronts wheels on the ground in turns and help rotate the car when your off throttle. Technique is dump the car hard into turn then at very last minute give her the go pedal.
Hey Brad you have any BRAG stickers I'd be happy to put them on the car. I'm getting ready to put my 914club decals on soon.

I have some black POR you can use to paint that rusty front hood racer black. Lets see that GT3 wing mounted on that Fordsche!
Honestly I'd be worried a little bit about that car using 710's with stock suspension - you will get some real funky weight transfer that could possibley put the car on its roof.

OK, so the a/x was a blast.
I learned something good today.
The car's owner came over to inspect my handywork and was pleased.
He told me that the motor in the car is a replacement motor with only 10k miles.
How cool is that for a free car?
I put new Porterfield R-4's on the front, new stock shoes on the rear and did a brake fluid flush with Motul.
Toyo's are on and I did a little 'creative suspension tuning'

Next week I'll run at Sears on Monday with TMR and TH on Friday with HOD.
Next step is to install a roll cage

Partial credit: 45 degrees for a 1 G turn, 63 degrees for a 2 G turn, 71.5 degrees for a 3 G turn. You got to understand the gravity of the situation.
