Several folks have not called me back in the last 2 days, who else should I call?? I live in Woodacre, Marin County, so close cities are Petaluma, San Rafael, and I would drive to Santa Rosa or East Bay down to Oakland.

I am hoping to work with a shop to resurface + re-balance my flywheel and PP.

Standard 914 PP, flywheel is already at 12 lb and I would entertain more weight reduction happy11.gif

Oil got in there, I am replacing seals, cleaning, and need to deal with the glazing that occurred. Not a lot, but I want max bite after I put it back together.

Thanks! beerchug.gif

if it isnt grooved too bad you can used a disc sander to scuff it right back up

Made it to a shop yesterday, with the proper tools my seals were replaced in a snap and the we worked the clutch mating surfaces with abrasives like you suggested. I took it all apart right after the slippage started and improper wear/glazing was minimal if at all. Once everything got cleaned up, it looked pretty good. Got to put it all together today, then things are looking good for GGR #1. beerchug.gif

I would check the depth from the flange bolting surface to the friction surface. Make sure its correct before you put it back in. The number I have is .886".....nut 100% sure it is correct. If that dimension gets too large the clutch won't have the pressure required to transmit the torque. Also make sure the flywheel bolts clear the clutch disc by plenty. FWIW
