It's about time we got started!! I'm not exactly ready as engine issues are persisting.

Here's the course! Come on down! As of right now they're predicting good weather!

Some may recognize this course as I borrowed it from the UFO guys (thanks Dennis)

Its a Boxster course! We confirmed that. Sorry to miss it.

If for some reason ( rain probably ) I can't make it to Santa Rosa on sat I'm gonna try to be there with the 912 on sunday.

If there's no rain in Santa Rosa, a hard decision, because I can only do one this weekend. I like Santa Rosa because of the changes in elevation and the fast courses that Dave & crew develop. I like Marina because we get 12 - 14 runs, Bill & Allison's courses are always fun.

Marina, I think.

Well, Marina was back to being Marina. Overcast and cool all day giving way to afternoon breeze and cold. Attendance was on the light side. The good news is everyone got 14 runs. I think Bill D got TTOD but Martin ? in the other hot 914 was right with him.

Not having my car there wasn't all that bad. I got to ride with several people and got to drive a couple cars too.

All in all a pretty good day, if you don't mind cooool weather.

This was a really fun event. We got 14 timed runs in, had a long lunch break, and were done before 3PM. I loved the course. It had some great short straights and several features where the right line was not immediately obvious.

Any idea when times will be posted. I'd like to see how close Martin McGuire and the guy in the modified 911 turbo with the 13 inch rear wheels got to me.

Congrats Bill. Nice to see a 914 grab the season opener. That is a great little course. I really enjoyed it when we ran similar one with UFO.

Anne got a "volunteer" to do the data entry. So, sorry, I have no idea when anything will be posted.

Hmm, somehow they neglected to post my best run - not that it matters.

Not sure what exactly is going on. this was the second attempt. The first version had results only for 8 runs not the total 14.

Sorry, but if you think this thread was tough, you haven't seen anything. You should have seen some of the comments when it took a weeks to get the results out for one of our AX's last year. This was nothing.

Yeah mass uprising from AX nerds is scary stuff. beerchug.gif
