So there have been a few different ways people on here have raised their rear mounts. Here is my way. I will be able to adjust my roll center by shimming the pickup points on the mount. I will also be able to adjust camber separate of the roll center. I have a few more braces to make before it is all done.

The answer: pretty close
the Question: How close can you get to a tube from a race car and still not be.
Pretty damn cool Blake.

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. Now I think I understand it, very clever! My understanding is that by raising the pivot points you basically raise the roll center. This is not necessarily a good thing. How are you going to lower the roll center without adding a ton of negative camber? Did you keep the semi-trailing arm angle the same as stock?

Looks like the new pivot points are a few inches farther forward too. Now you have a longer semi trailing arm. Nice idea.

My camber adjustment is separate from the pickups. The trailing arms are stock, I have not cut them and twisted them. Here is the trailing arm outside of the car with the mount. The camber adjuster is the box on the outside.

OK, I see it. Very Nice! You can change the angle of the pivot by the spacers at the rod ends and then adjust the camber in the little box. How long did it take you to think of that? You didn't add any weight to the trail arm either. What car is this? IT?

Blake,
Quick question: Is there enough angle in the Heims with them otiented in the horizontal plane to accomodate full suspension travel? I'm concerned more with full droop, where a limiting strap may be necessary otherwise you could destroy the Heims.

I am building this car for E production.
There is should be plenty of travel on the heims. I am using reducers that allow more travel. What you see in the picture is not what am going to use. I also have very short shocks in the back.

Very cool!!! Excellent approach and execution. I assume that some of those extra braces that you haven't installed yet will put those rod ends in double shear, correct?

Thanks, Yes I will have the rod ends in double shear plus some more.
