Hello,

That has been a difficult question to ask. I assume that many of you are aware of the seeling prices for a Jake Raby's engine. I have used the search engine but I have not been able to come across something interesting and clear enough.
I have had a look on his website and it seems to be a tough process to get a quote. As I do not want to annoy him with my newbie questions (He seems to be quite busy)and I would like to be sure I can afford this engine prior to discussing with him, I rely on your knowledge.
I would like to get a 2270 performer as I intend to track my future 914 a little. Would it be a good choice? Maybe a 2056 performer should be enough?
I feel a bit like a dummie with this post confused24.gif
Thanks for your help and your advice.

He isn't too busy to answer a potential customer's questions. He is in the business of developing, manufacturing, building and .....

wait for it....

selling.

So, go ahead and get a hold of him. I'm sure he will be more than happy to answer your questions and see if you are a candidate for his products. There are NO dumb questions when it comes to spending your hard earned money.

Since every engine is different there is no set price. The best way to get a quote is to call and set up a time to talk with Jake. Dean, who answers the phone, can answer most of your questions. If he can't then he can schedule a time, usually Wednesday night for you to talk with Jake.

I just sold my Raby kit 2316-210 turn key air filters to Tangerine Evo silencer tip. 7700.00 and it was a serious steal.
Little over 11K into it not counting my labor.

Turn key with all the bells and whistles including dyno tune ??? easily double it.

Wanna smoke a GT Mustang and pass em like he was standing still? This motor will do it. Very powerful very light. still good MPG about 25+.
