It will be held at Infineon's racing paddock.

Limited to 60 entries, max.

Wow!!

Will cost $75.

Great opportunity to learn the basics of car control in a safe environment with instruction.
Also a great venue for personal test and tuning.

Expect 2 hours-plus, seat time on the autocross surface!

Let me know if you would like to run or instruct.

May 29th, May 31st or June 21st.

Yes, two Mondays.

I will definitely need instructors.

Once this goes public and I start to promote the final dates, it will sell out in three weeks.

914Clubbers are first in line!

When I start forming the roster, I will contact everyone in this thread and verify your interest.

We'll do the same format as the last two times.

4 run groups, 3 exercise areas.
3 run, 1 rest rotation.

During your rest period ( or any time ) you are welcome to go on ride alongs with DE drivers running on the BigTrack.

We'll connect all of the features to create a full track during the last 2-3 hours in a fun-run format.
2 groups run, 2 groups work. Then switch.

You'll be worn out!

Really seems likt there is unmet demand for these types of events. Makes one wonder if there might be opportunity to offer a monthly school at Marina. These AX school classes always fill up with each club that offers them.

What would be cool is to rent both pads at Marina. Run skid pad and short manuerver s on one and then have full course on another.

Wonder if you could make money at this? Maybe expand it to teen defensive driving and education.

What a great way to introduce people to the sport.

I hate to commit as I never know if I'll be traveling. Put me on as backup instructor. If I'm around and it doesnt conflict with anything I could head up for a day.

+ 1 RSVP for Infineon location. beerchug.gif
The 914 should be off jack stands next month.
I need to get some seat time, bad.

Grant I agree. These autox schools are by far the most fun driving event I have done. The on the edge yet safe driving of an autox combined with the on course time of 1-2 track days. For 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a track day.

If these were available every month I would probably hit it every three months instead of autox's (yet go to the local autox's every once in a while)

I'll hold off on 'going public' with this for just a little while.
914 guys get first crack! smilie_pokal.gif

This being the third go around, I'm fairly confident that it will sell out in three weeks or less like the last two times.

Isn't the PCA SVR autocross the same day at the same place? Do you know how the two events are going to co-mingle?
