A buddy of mine and I just returned from driving Wide Open Baja Buggies for three days. OMG, too much fun. Ripping down river beds, open desert, trails, up and down mountains. Speeds of 80+ MPH on the dirt. The cars are awesome, 20 inches of travel at all 4 corners, subaru 2.5 l motors, GPS nav, and all go.

Made a little video from our trip. We didn't have a camera mount, so everything is hand held. You don't get to see the rough stuff as there was no way to hold the camera. The waterfall into La Paz is brutal, we went down one day and up the next. Like climbing a cliff. Recommend this trip to everybody.

The water on Baja is actually quite good. It is only the water on the main land that you have to worry about. We drank filter Baja water for 2 years with nary a problem but when we went to mainland Mexico we bought bottled.
