Are both the rear axle nuts right handed? After putting a 200 lb nut on the outboard end of a six-foot cheater pipe, the inner nut still wouldn't loosen with those 1,200 foot-pounds of torque messing with it. So I just wondered.

yes they are. Unscrew counter clockwise. We usually have an air driven impact wrench that we use, after soaking them overnight in penetrant.
