Nepal Orange plaid fabric sample? Options

I'm restoring a '75 Scirocco... going to Nepal Orange and need a sample of the Nepal Orange plaid seat material to match.

Does anyone have a small sample, or is there a trashed interior in a junkyard somewhere, where I can source this?

Looking to have a roll made, but they must have a fabric sample, not a picture.

I believe it's similar, if not dead on, to the 914 fabric.

There are a couple of places online located in the LA area (city not state) with some rolls of the 70's VW fabrics, I've seen the yellows & some others. So you might want to Google & search around for them first - before you do a special order. Sorry, I don't have those links anymore after my hard drive crashed a while back.

The 75 Scirocco and the 75 76 914 have installed the same Nepal orange fabric. We have it but it is expensive. It would cost about 200 bucks to buy the fabric for the front and rear seats for your car. It was weak from the factory (the fabric) and dry rotted prematurely. The factory then discontinued it. An after market supplier had it remade in better quality materials, and we have reinserted many many 914 interiors with great success.
