Just saying.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/lol.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) It friggin rocks.. been delivering parts/pieces organizing and keeping two people busy. Basically there is NOTHING we cannot do out of this shop. The only thing missing (because I don't have the money for it) is a CNC machine. One day I'll invite some 914 people up for a little BBQ or something, then a run through the mountains (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Anyone know how to get vinyl off the side of an 18wheeler?? after it has been baked in the sun for several years? I want get going on getting the trailer wrapped with BRAG (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) B

We used a rubber wheel (similar texture to a pencil eraser) on a drill to take lettering off the side of an 18 wheeler with moderate success. Wouldn't recommend it for large jobs. Very tedious. If you were closer than 20 hours away you could help build my car! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ~snake

if ya need to remove a lot of vinyl, get a roofers torch it allows you to heat up large sections of vinyl at once (unlike a regular heatgun) with heat, both the vinyl and the glue soften up, making it easier to remove another option is to put it in a paintbooth and let it bake for a while... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_H1DwbqZSA

QUOTE (Brad Roberts @ Feb 18 2010, 05:13 AM) Jeroen, I have been trying to find a 53ft race car trailer template so you can do BRAG for the sides of it.. not having much luck (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) it's a box: no need for a template... just get me a couple of good pics (straight from the side and the back)
