The first question that comes up on these cars is rust, so we might as well get that one out of the way. There is no structural rust on this vehicle. The engine compartment was completely redone with a new battery box and all rust was cut out, metal replaced & re-welded properly. On the drivers door frame at the lock there is a small section that needs repaired. That’s it. There are a few minor dings in the body (nothing major!). The car definitely needs paint. The European tail lenses were “recently borrowed”, so you will need to replace those. The brake lines where removed to replace with braided lines, but did not get that far (you will need). The car was originally fuel injected, and the computer and injection components (much 914 history of problems with these) were removed, so new electrical will need to be run to the engine (minor). The interior needs to be redone. Have all the parts. Now the done stuff …..New electric fuel pump w/ adjustable regulator, New Weiltmeister Short Shift kit, Rebuilt Shift Linkage w/ new bushings and new shift rod, Upgraded Braking system w/ New 911 (19mm) Master Cylinder; 911 Calipers; and New Rotors drilled for both 4 lug and 5 lug pattern rims, After Market 5 spoke 4 lug Aluminum Wheels, and “Koni” adjustable shocks. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. We just don’t have the time to complete this project, and would like to see someone get this, or their own classic on the road with these fantastic offerings.
We have invested over $7000.00 in the Engine and Transmission alone , many thousands more on additional parts.
