The July August Vintage Motorsports magazine (about $10 with tax) has a long, profusely illustrated recounting of Porsche dealers attempting to win an E-Production SCCA championship and how it was won and lost. The article tells of a set of instructions for making a racer out of the 914; Does anyone have a copy?

Check with Rich Bontempi at HPH (High Performance House, Redwood City CA), since he successfully raced his 914/4s in E back in the day. I've had some great chats with him about it, but not sure if he'd have the info to copy, but knows all the tricks .... if he'll share them now that he's not racing. IIRC he'll still set up racers in his shop for the current SCCA & PCA/POC club racing rules, AX, etc.

PS - George at AA on here probably knows something about it too. ;-)

Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
