Great article with some interesting insight to the factory during the early production of the 914. It was nice that they acknowledged you as a "914 expert" and even quoted you. I found it odd that Basem Wasef used "T-tops" in the article rather than a targa top.

The article should have been proof read by someone in the know before published, but evidently the editor forbid it, hence quite a few mistakes, like the bumper girders and shocks behind the fiberglass bumpers!!!

I wondered about that and you are probably one of very few people in the world who would know that type of detail about the 916.
