I bought one from Sergio a couple of years ago for my old street car. Nicely done.

I'm still making them - currently have two with lightened cross brace available. I have material to make both the lightened (no cross brace) and racer (no cross brace/hinges/latch/torsion bars) version as well.

Price is now $350 or $300 with nice core exchange (plus packing/shipping) - Thanks

Sergio

I've got one withe a lightened cross brace made and ready to ship.

I can have material to make both a lid without the cross brace and a super light weight "racer" (no cross brace/hinges/torsion bars/latch).

QUOTE (PCA7GGR @ Oct 12 2003, 12:07 PM) *
FS: 914-6 GT Double Engine Grill
Replica of the original double grilled 914-6GT engine lid. It is made with original grill material. The cross brace can be lighten or removed (your choice - the lid is a bit more structurally rigid if the cross brace is only lightened - with the cross brace removed, the lid is lighter but the lid tends to flex and may not fit flush against the trunk when closed). The latch and torsion bars are left intact. The lids are painted semi-gloss black (similar to satin black).

The lid is $300 plus shipping/packing - cash, cashiers check or Paypal (add 3% for Paypal). I discount a bit if you have stock engine lid(s) and/or grill(s) to exchange. Your core lid(s)/grill(s) needs to be in very nice condition (lid has minimal coats of paint, no dents, nor rust and the mesh on grill has no holes nor deformities). If you are providing a stock lid(s)/grill(s), you are responsible for their packing/shipping to me.

Hello Sergio,
I would like to order one of your GT engine lids with the lightened cross member. I do have a stock lid in pretty good shape, but the mesh does have some deformities. Thanks Curtis

I just bought one of Serg's GT deck lids and brought it home in the plane all the way to Sydney Australia. It's a beautiful looking thing, and very accurate looking in all aspects. Thanks Serg, it's a great thing!

Cheers,

Adam

After several year, I am bumping up the price of my replica GT lids to $400 without a core lid/grill/hardware and $400 without plus shipping and applicable PayPal fees.

That's to all of you that have supported this endevour.

Late last year I was able to source several stock complete engine lids. So I have a couple GT lids made and ready to ship - thanks.

But I won't ship to Belarus - ;>)
