I'm helping my brother with his '74 2.0 and the P.O. jury rigged the ignition. We are trying to rewire it the correct way (or atleast to where the key turns it over). Anybody have any ideas? We have found the plugs on the control box in the engine compartment that go hot when the key is on but not sure which one is the correct one to use. Thanks ahead of time.

Ok let me try and reword this. I think we are missing the rear wiring harness in the engine compartment. We are not going to rebuild the fuel injection. Currently we are using a weber progressive (yes I know they suck). We will be converting it over to dual 40/44's very soon but right now we're trying to get it back on the road. We need to know how to rewire it to allow the key to turn over the starter. Any help will be much appreciated.
