Martin Schneider had a really good turbo conversion kit he offered for 914s. You can contact him at MSDS Martin Schneider design systems, and he could tell you about it. He covered all of the bases with his kit

IDK about his wife but mine didn’t think I needed to spend money on my 914 for anything but maintenance and gas and spend the rest on her/us.

Joedubbs sold it to a guy in Philly and then I purchased it. I cut out the (poorly built) roll cage and I'll have the rear trunk bulkhead fixed. Dubbs cut out all the engine shelf so it's not really good for an air cooled engine so I'm putting in a 6 cylinder Subaru engine & Suby trans. I had made a deal with dubbs to trade the original bumper for the imsa bumper and steering wheel. I gave him the parts but he never gave me the bumper. Promised them to me for over 6 months but never delivered. It should be assembled next spring.
