Found the most awesome, honest, and friendly Porsche mechanic ever! His name is John. And he owns Decatur Garage at 189 Sams Street in Decatur Georgia. He and his trusty associate Danielle know sports car racing. And put that knowledge into the care of their clients automobiles. My '76 914 runs like new!

I met them a few weeks ago, I agree. They are very nice guys and they know their stuff. I saw your 914 in there. When it comes time to get my 914 repainted I'm going with their guy Mike. Unfortunately this year's big project for the 914 is the transmission rebuild...coming soon before the weather gets perfect.
Not as fun as a repaint, but probably makes a bit more sense to have a great driver instead of shiny and sitting in my garage.
