Hii..
so umm, i really new. as you can probley tell
well im not here to tell you my life story obviously.

so...my car is amazing.
she is a honda civic ex coupe
bought her brand new myself in june.
im sixteen.

so i started wondering why right after i got gas
my sweet baby started not...going
when i went to give her some gas
she just wouldnt go over 9 at first.
but i still had to bring a friend home then go home. my mom works the night shift at the hospital and it is just her and i.
so i go to bring him home and run into a sweet old couple that tell me its probley my gas. and the asked where i filled up at, and told me to never fill it up there again.
so, the give me some premium gas
to try to even it out i think.
she kept sputtering and everything. normally i buy unleaded. the cheapest kinda and i always do.
it was a pale yellow. is that the right color?
anyway...so i drove him home.
gave my baby a ten minute break the braved the 3 mile journey home, going 4 to 5 miles per hour.
spittleing and spurting the whole way.

im not really sure what to do. i mean...all of my money is going towards the note. how do i fix this?
the old people told me to just run out of gas. then put some gas cleaning stuff in it.

and could you please talk in 16 year old girl that knows nothing about cars?

Hello Kerri, well first most gas is a yellow color premiun gas usally has a blue hue. it sounds as if you got somewater in your fuel tank. get a bottle of HEET it is a additive thats takes water out of the fuel systems. another option is to drain your fuel tank and buy new gas. another problem could be a clogged fuel filter, this is also caused by bad gas, all fuels has some debris is them over time the fuel filters clog and a car will sputteras you are describing.check those two things and see what happens if that does not help it could range from a bad fuel line to a bad fuel pump but try some HEET first then see about the filter.
