Speedster Mikes 1974 914GT replica
Originally a Texas car. Pretty near no rust anywhere! Got this car after it had been sitting for about 7 years in a garage with motor and trans out. Previous owner had thoughts of BIG motor and never got around to it. I've installed 911 calipers ,rotors and brake pads, 911 master cylinder, New brake lines all around , 930 turbo tie rods, bump steer kit, new struts, complete undercarrage disassembled and repainted, New 16x7s and 16X9 wheels, New Sumitomo HTRZ Sticky rubber all around and the list goes on and on and on and on and on....can't wait to get it all back together.....it's a process....no bolt unturned...I'm having a blast! UPDATE: 9-1-2010 My parts just came in that I ordered from Jake Rabys Type IV Store. I've pulled the motor back out and I'm going completely through it ! Building a strong 2056cc engine. Bought the majority of my parts from Jake, Bought brand new Ported and Polished new casting AMC heads with all the good stuff from Darrin over at DRD Racing. I will be running 9.5 to 1 compression, Keith Black 96m pistons, Jakes special grind Performance cam and lifters,..everything will be balanced, remote Oil cooler with fan to help keep it cool, plus a lot more performance stuff not mentioned and the list goes on and on and on.....you know the drill ! UPDATE:..7/1/2011 Just got the fresh 2056cc motor back in a couple of weeks ago...Having a blast behind the wheel....breaking it in!

Shift Linkage
When an axle broke loose it not only smashed my headers but also bent my shift linkage. Decided to replace with Chris Foley designed shift linkage.

Head Studs
Removed older header (Kerry Hunter Headers) and installed a header/exhaust from Tangerine racing. Photos are dealing with the Tapping issue and trying to get some close ups on the condition of the exhaust channels.

Strudelwagon
My first 914 (Ushi) 74-2L with custom Porsche colour "Sahara Beige" like the Carrera of the same year. The car was amazingly solid with the exception of a crunched nose. That we can fix! Had a little change of heart on the colour...still a custom Porsche colour but now Emerald Green 225. I'm just not old enough for Beige yet!
